Bruce was born in Zimbabwe and emigrated from South Africa to the UK in 2000. Following a life-long interest in Chinese philosophy and medicine, he commenced his acupuncture studies at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa in 2002.

While his initial studies and practice focused on the Five Element school, in recent years he has broadened his knowledge of other areas of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and now works in an integrated style. This allows for a unique approach for different individuals and different conditions.
Bruce currently teaches and supervises at the The Acupuncture Academy, one of the leading accredited acupuncture schools in the UK.

Bruce has trained in martial arts in the past and now follows a daily qigong and meditation practice.

Treatments Offered

Acupuncture is based on the premise that people are individuals and require an individual approach regardless of why they’re coming for treatment. In other words, three people with asthma may very well be treated in three completely different ways.

An acupuncture treatment may be complemented by moxibustion and cupping. In addition, Bruce will talk with you in detail about your lifestyle, and any factors that may need addressing such as stressors, nutrition and exercise.

Bruce has had over 15 years experience treating a variety of conditions, including depression & anxiety, chronic pain, migraines, asthma, and skin & musculoskeletal issues. He also has extensive expertise in treating women and men with fertility issues and supporting patients through every stage of IVF and pregnancy.

Craniosacral Therapist

Jo Llewellyn is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST) living and working in South East London where she has a busy practice in Hither Green. Jo feels passionate about helping people back to health and that her role as a therapist is to support you in a non-judgemental and open-hearted way. Jo also works with Weleda as a wellness advisor and combines the knowledge of their natural and homeopathic healthcare with her Craniosacral practice.

Craniosacral Therapy

Behind the tongue twister of a name Craniosacral therapy or ‘Cranio’ for short is a lovely gentle form of body work which has the ability to transform your health and well being. Its suitable for adults, children and babies.

People may come for Cranio because they have an acute physical problem like migraines or a bad back or long standing problems both physical and emotional. Others come for ongoing support in their busy lives and for help to meet life's challenges. CST allows the body to process and release physical and emotional trauma that may be stored in the body.

A treatment will last between 45-60 mins long and as you lie fully clothed under a blanket the therapist will then make very light contact with your body. After a treatment patients experience a sense of contentment and deep relaxation and feel as if they have been ‘put back’ together again. Something which we call Craniosacral integration.

Cranio helps conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder; poor sleep, insomnia and fatigue; neck and back pain; headaches, migraine, jaw pain, sinusitis and tinnitus; fertility and during pregnancy; anxious babies, reflux, colic and feeding problems; ADHD, autism and sensory processing issues and childhood behavioural issues

SARAH JAMES MAR BA Hons City and Guilds

Holistic Therapist - Reflexology, Massage & Facials

I am an experienced holistic therapist and have been practising at Neal’s Yard Therapy Rooms in Clapham Junction and Borough for over 12 years.

I was first introduced to reflexology by a friend back in 2003 when I was suffering with my own health issues and from the very first treatment, I loved it.  At the time, I was working in a pretty stressful job and the reflexology enabled me to switch off and relax. Several years later, I decided to retrain as a reflexologist and holistic therapist and have never looked back. I have worked with many pregnant women looking for reflexology support and I have done a great deal of extra training in this specialist field.

That said, whilst many of my clients are pregnant, my work is not exclusively maternity related and I see individuals for all sorts of different issues. I have a love for all things beauty and have trained in different types of facials including the natural face lift and I teach facial Yoga having trained in the Danielle Collins method.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, the UK’s professional body for reflexology, the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, the UK regulator for complementary healthcare.

Treatments Offered

I provide bespoke treatments including Reflexology; Reflexology for Maternity and Fertility; Sports, Deep Tissue and Aromatherapy Massage; Indian Head Massage; Neal's Yard Remedies Holistic Facials; Natural Face Lift Facials and Facial Yoga.
From working for sports professionals and rugby clubs to supporting woman’s health and providing holistic health and beauty treatments, my wealth of experience and expertise focus on pre-conception and fertility support, physical and emotional health and well-being, relaxation, sleep and balance, pain relief and injury recovery and skincare and anti-ageing.

Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Sally is a counsellor and psychotherapist and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative, which means she has studied, and is experienced in, more than one approach to therapy. Being able to draw upon different approaches allows her to identify the best techniques for each client to feel comfortable and make good progress. The key modalities she uses are psychodynamic therapy (looking for clues from your past to help you to understand who you are today and why you do the things that you do), person-centred therapy (supporting your understanding of your own process and helping you to take charge of circumstances) and cognitive behavioural therapy (looking at and adapting your thinking habits).

“If you are troubled about aspects of your life currently or ready to tackle things from the past in a safe non judgemental space I am available to help you. You will feel accepted, understood and listened to.  Whether you are feeling stressed or depressed, are facing a crisis point in your life or trying to find meaning, or if you simply can’t go on as you have been, I can help you to look at things differently and find your own, new approach”.

~ Sally Smith

People attend counselling for a variety of reasons, not limited to the following (alphabetical) reasons: Abuse (sexual, mental or physical), addiction, anxiety and panic, bereavement, bullying, depression, directionless, disability, divorce and separation, ethnic identity or cultural issues, existential angst, fear, guilt, intimacy, life crisis, low mood, motivation issues, not moving forward, redundancy, relationship difficulties, retirement, self-esteem and self-confidence, sexuality, shame, stress, trauma, violence and workplace stress.
