CHAIR YOGA AT THE AGE EXCHANGE
I joined this class over a year ago after having dislocated my elbow and felt that I really needed some exercise.
I am enjoying the class very much. I can really feel the benefit physically and it makes me feel good mentally too. I have also found good company in my fellow chair yoga participants.
I just want to say how much I am enjoying the chair yoga sessions. Having problems with my feet and back I do derive great benefit from the classes as they are adapted to suit all capabilities.
I especially enjoy the meditative rhythm of the session and find it a huge aid to relaxation. I always come away feeling energised but also rested.
What's to like?! The slow, continuous movements not only make you feel good but it makes you very aware of posture and balance. There is a definite "feel good factor" and it is very enjoyable! I have osteoarthritis and I am convinced that the chair yoga sessions is aiding me and my body.

The class is taking place while seated on a chair and is suitable for everyone!
