Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings: Bookings can be made up to 4 weeks in advance and payment has to be provided at the time of booking. You can drop into classes without booking online but please be aware that we run small group classes and as such drop-in spaces are limited and priority will be given to students who book online. Please note, we do not accept cash payments in the studio.

  • Waitlist: If a class is fully booked you can join our waitlist. To join the waitlist you will need to have a valid payment option on your MindBody account - in case you do not have a membership or class pass available to use, you will be charged for a drop in class which will be refunded as a class credit to your MindBody account in case no space becomes available for you. If a space opens up and you are next in line, you will receive an email or text message notifying you that you have been added to the class - please ensure our email address is marked as 'safe' so it does not end up in your junk mail folder. If you no longer wish to join the class after having been added from the waitlist, you need to cancel your booking to avoid being charged.

  • Cancellations: We operate a 12-hour cancellation policy for all our studio and outdoor classes and a 3-hour cancellation policy for our virtual classes.

    • Early cancellations: All cancellations before the cancellation window should be made via our website or app; if you paid by class pass or purchased a drop-in class, your class credit will be added back to your MindBody account.

You can transfer to an alternative event or obtain an account credit for cancellations made up to 14 days before the event date by emailing hello@blackheathyoga.co.uk. Cancellations after that date can only be transferred if your place can be filled from the waiting list. We are not able to offer partial refunds or account credits for sessions missed as part of a course.

    • No shows: If you are booked onto a class/workshop/course and fail to show up, your class credit will be deducted from your account if you are on a class pass or have purchased a drop-in class.

    • No shows on unlimited memberships: If you are on an unlimited membership and fail to cancel or show up to class on time more than once per month, we will apply a £10 fee to any subsequent late cancellations or no shows for the membership month.

    • Late arrivals: For safety and security of everyone in the studio, our doors will be locked at the start of class and if you are late you will not be able to join the class. You will still be charged for the class if you have booked online.

  • Cancellations by us: On the rare occasion that a class is cancelled by the studio, your class credit will be returned to your MindBody account or you can request a refund to your bank account instead.
