  • Personal belongings: We cannot accept liability for any damaged, lost or stolen personal items.

Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings: Bookings can be made up to 4 weeks in advance and payment has to be provided at the time of booking. You can drop into classes without booking online but please be aware that we run small group classes and as such drop-in spaces are sometimes limited and priority will be given to students who book online.

  • Waitlist: If a class is fully booked you can join our waitlist. If a space opens up and you are next in line, you will receive an email notifying you that you have been added to the class. If you no longer wish to join the class you need to cancel your booking to avoid being charged.

  • Class Passes: Class passes are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. Class passes activate on the date of your first booking and you can only book further classes on dates that fall after the activation date. Drop in class passes are valid for 3 months from date of purchase. 20 class passes are valid for 12 months from date of first use, 10 class passes are valid for 8 months from date of first use and 5 class passes are valid for 4 months from date of first use. We require every attendee to have their own account and you cannot share a class pass with a friend.

  • Cancellations: We operate a 2-hour cancellation policy for all our classes.

    • Early cancellations: All cancellations before the cancellation window should be made via our website or app; if you paid by class pass or purchased a drop-in class, your class credit will be added back to your MindBody account.

    • Late cancellations: Cancellations within the 2-hour window need to be made online via the website or MindBody App. Please note, unless your place can be filled from the waiting list your class pass will not be credited back to your account.

    • Cancellation of Workshops and Courses: Workshop/ Course fees are non-refundable. You can transfer to an alternative event or obtain class credits for cancellations made up to 14 days before the event date. Cancellations after that date can only be transferred if your place can be filled from the waiting list.

    • No shows: If you are booked onto a class/workshop/course and fail to show up, your class credit will be deducted from your account if you are on a class pass or have purchased a drop-in class.

    • Late arrivals: Late arrivals (beyond 5 minutes after scheduled class start) will usually not be allowed entry in to the class due to health & safety reasons - if you miss the warm up it could be unsafe for you to join the class. Please note you will still be charged for the class if you have booked online.

  • Cancellations by us: On the rare occasion that a class is cancelled by the studio, your class credit will be returned to your MindBody account or you can request a refund to your bank account instead.

Health & Injuries

  • By taking part in one of our classes you accept that neither the instructor, nor Blackheath Yoga is liable for any injury, or damages, to person, resulting from the taking of a class.

  • It is the responsibility of the student to inform the teacher of any injuries or changes in health at the start of class. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention so if in doubt please consult a medical professional prior to beginning any activity programme such as yoga.

  • If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, you are advised to come out of the posture and notify the instructor. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body and respect its limits on any given day.

  • It is the responsibility of the student to inform the teacher of any operations or surgical procedures in the past six months. If you are pregnant or have given birth within the last three months please inform the teacher at the start of class. Teachers have the right to refer students back to their GP – we are not being mean - this is for your own health & safety!

  • If you would like to discuss any health issues prior to starting a yoga practice please contact hello@blackheathyoga.co.uk.
